Frequently Asked Questions

We are asked questions every day about who we are, what we do, and how we do it. We want to make sure that all of those who are interested in our organization can find out exactly how we operate.

Is Unitary America associated with Unitarianism?

No. Unitary America is not – in any way – associated with Unitarianism, Unitary Universalism, or any other contemporary religious organization or group. Unitary America derives its name from its mission of “unifying America” – not in Unitarianism.

No. Unitary America is not limited by any county or state. Unitary America not just works for all residents of Upstate New York – but for Americans, everywhere, no matter their location.

Yes. Elected officials can join Unitary America. Elected officials cannot have any monetary gain from participating in the organization. We allow elected officials to join our organization.

Anyone who wishes to donate needs to complete a Donor Registration Form. This form ensures accountability, and also ensures that Unitary America complies with all regulatory requirements. Unitary America does not accept foreign donations, or any “black money.” Unitary America receives donations through several ways.

Unitary America does not advocate for a specific belief system. Unitary America is a strictly non-partisan organization. Unitary America does advocate for certain policies, however, Unitary America sees itself as beyond this typical divide. Unitary America advocates for policies that will help the greatest amount of people, deliver the most amount of change, help alleviate suffering, and help the most lives and livelihoods. Unitary America does not subscribe to a specific set of ideological or political beliefs, and instead looks at every issue from a nuanced perspective. In short, Unitary America is above politics, above typical divides, and is simply concerned with helping communities – and those within them.

Please contact us via our Contact page. If you are based in New York State, please indicate so in your inquiry. We are more than welcome to have regional and local chapters within New York State. If you live outside of New York State, or any other state which Unitary America does not have a presence in, we may require some additional information to start a chapter  (since starting a new chapter in a new state requires a significant amount of resources from us).

Our logo is the ouroborus, a symbol that represents renewal, rejuvenation, and unity. It is our aspiration as an organization to help renew and better communities, foster unity, and in general, help pave the way for a renewal of communities, American livelihoods, and those who live within them. Unitary America seeks to create united communities working towards progress, and working to benefit each other.

We are not associated with Unite America, United America, or any other group with a name other than “Unitary America.” We do partner with businesses and organizations, although all of our operations will explicitly contain the phrase “Unitary America.” Unitary America also operates programs, which are maintained by their parent, Unitary America. In that same vein, Unitary America is not associated with the “Unitary Executive” political theory, nor with the “Unitary Business” model. Unitary America is a separate legal and financial entity that prides itself on improving communities, fostering unity, advocating for community concerns, and building a stronger, more united America.
